[ads2]The “Inside MMA” weekly TV show that airs on AXStv went against the grain a little this past week. The show featured a writer who isn’t a MMA fan. In fact, Dave Begel doesn’t even think MMA is a sport:
“I think it’s a disgusting, barbaric entertainment event,” Dave Begel said. “I can’t even call it a sport. It’s absolutely ridiculous to think that people do this and pay money to watch this kind of crap.”
Begel is a columnist for OnMilwaukee.com, and made waves when he wrote that the UFC 157 main event between Ronda Rousey and Liz Carmouche was “a disgrace”.
Begel even sent shots toward “Inside MMA” co-host and former UFC champion Bas Rutten. Check out the full segment via the video below:
