[ads2]UFC light heavyweight Brandon Vera took a little time to speak with our friend Aaron Tru from MMAPrime.tv after corning one of his fighters at a Bellator event. Vera talked about a recent MCL injury that will keep him out of action until around July, and why he’s hungrier than ever now since fans and critics thought he was washed up but he proved that he’s not in his last fight with Shogun Rua.

However, about a quarter of the way through the interview UFC heavyweight fighter Pat Barry made a cameo appearance as he was corning someone who was fighting someone from Brandon Vera’s gym. Barry talks about the raw emotion and energy it takes to corner a fighter and explains why it’s more taxing than fighting itself. Pat Barry tells us that’s he NOT going down to the light heavyweight division and why he doesn’t want to fight Mark Hunt.

The two fighter’s also give their opinion on the state of women’s MMA since both of their significant others are fighters. It’s a must watch interview and we have it all for you below:
