The TUF 17 Finale event that’s set for April 13 in Las Vegas, Nevada, has a new main event. A bantamweight bout between Urijah Faber and Scott Jorgensen will be the new main event.

The original main event, a UFC flyweight title fight between champion Demetrious Johnson and challenger John Moraga was scrapped due to an injury to Johnson.

The TUF 17 Finale will also feature the second UFC female fight ever when bantamweight’s Miesha Tate and Cat Zingano take on each other for the potential shot at UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey with a win.

Faber (27-6) is fresh off a first round submission win over Ivan Menjivar at UFC 157. It was a nice rebound win for Faber after losing a unanimous decision to Renan Barao at UFC 149.

Jorgensen (14-6) is coming off a first round submission win over John Albert at the UFC on FOX 5 event in December. Jorgensen has lost back-to-back fights going into that bout, with one of those losses also coming via unanimous decision against Renan Barao.

The TUF 17 Finale will take place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. Stay tuned to ProMMAnow.com for more UFC news and coverage.
