There are three fighters that could face up to a six month suspension from their UFC on FUEL TV 7 fights that took place on Feb. 16 at the Wembley Arena in London, England. Dustin Poirier, Ryan Jimmo, and Tom Watson could all be out for up to six months unless cleared by a physician.

All of the competitors will face a mandatory layoff with no contact for 21 days during the 30 day time period according to mixedmartialarts.com

  • Dustin Poirier suffered a left ankle injury during his unanimous decision loss to Cub Swanson and faces a 180 day suspension unless cleared by a physician.
  • Ryan Jimmo suffered a right thigh injury during his grueling unanimous decision loss to Jame Te Huna and faces a 180 day suspension unless cleared by a physician.
  • Tom Watson suffered a right elbow injury during his TKO victory over Stanislav Nedkov and faces a 180 day suspension unless cleared by a physician.

The UFC on FUEL TV 7 event was headlined by the UFC interim bantamweight title fight between Renan Barao and Michael McDonald. Barao went on to retain the interim title with a fourth round submission win via arm-triangle choke.
