GFL PRESENTS “REAL FIGHTS” ON COMCAST SPORTSNET
CAGE FURY FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIPS PRESENTS “CFFX XIX – SULLIVAN VS LANE” FEATURING 3 CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHTS ON COMCAST TCN AND CSN SPORTSNET BEGINNING FEBRUARY 18

New York, NY (February 14, 2013) – This weekend GFL and Comcast continue their weekly combat sports series, REAL FIGHTS, with world class MMA, as East Coast juggernaut Cage Fury Fighting Championships presents CFFC XIX – Sullivan VS Lane featuring 14 hotly contested matchups inside the cage headlined by a main event with the highly coveted CFFC Welterweight Title on the line.

Reigning and defending CFFC Welterweight Champion George Sullivan (11-3) battles Bellator and TUF veteran Julian Lane (4-0). Sullivan has won 7 of his last 8 fights and his opponents include a who’s who of the top East Coast Welterweight in the region.

Sullivan is a punishing striker that can end the fight with a single punch. Not many fighters in the 170 lb division can withstand his offensive style as Sullivan is also accurate with his strikes. Lane is an experienced fighter who is coming off the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter.

Both Sullivan and Lane prefer to seek and destroy so this fight should be a barnburner and chances of it going to decision are slim to none. Add the title to the mix and you have one combustible main event.

In another title fight, it will be undefeated Artur Rofi (5-0) fighting Bellator vet Lester Caslow (8-6) for the vacant CFFC Featherweight Championship. The Renzo Gracie trained Rofi is a monster at 145 lb and you won’t find a more aggressive fighter in the cage.

Perhaps more impressive than his undefeated streak, is the fact that all have come via finishes. A fighter that packs a powerful punch, Rofi’s grappling is his strongest asset, especially from his back as he can secure a triangle or armbar in the blink of an eye.

Caslow will pose the strongest test to date for Rofi. Caslow is battle-tested in the cage and possesses KO power in both hands as well as a strong grappling game to go with it. The winner of this bout deserves the title as the #1 Featherweight Fighter in the Northeast. It should be a barnburner.
