Less than a week after Tuff-N-Uff veteran, Ronda Rousey’s, historic UFC debut, Tuff-N-Uff continues the tradition of promoting women’s MMA at March 1st “FestiBrawl”
On Friday, March 1st, “Tuff-N-Uff: The Future Stars of MMA” returns to Las Vegas’ South Point Arena for the promotion’s latest “FestiBrawl”, featuring amateur MMA, live music, free beer sampling and gourmet food trucks.
Hoping to follow in the footsteps of Tuff-N-Uff veteran, Ronda Rousey, BRENNA LARKIN training at Apex MMA in Tucson, AZ will fight CYNTHIA CALVILLO out of San Jose, CA for the 125lb title. Both ladies are undefeated and posting 4-0 records. These ladies look to make a statement. One of them will leave with the title, and one of the 0’s will have to go!
Tuff-N-Uff president, Barry Meyer, prides his organization on putting on the best amateur fights possible and hopes to continue promoting all athletes, but especially women’s MMA into the future.
“It’s like seeing your baby grow up. You’re happy for them to see them successful. I counted recently. We’ve put on over 100 female fights and so many more women are training now. It’s great to see and I am proud of our contribution” said Meyer.
In addition to the night’s featured contests, a full lineup of aspiring amateur fighters from some of the world’s top academies – including House of RYU, Syndicate MMA, Ruthless Fight Team, Wand Fight Team and Fight Capital – will compete at Tuff-N-Uff’s March 1 event.
