dustin poirierUFC officials have announced that Dennis Siver has had to withdraw from his UFC on FUEL TV 7 bout with Cub Swanson due to an injury.

However, Dustin Poirier has agreed to step in and face Swanson on short notice.

UFC on FUEL TV 7 will take place on February 16 at the Wembley Arena in London England. The event will be headlined by the UFC bantamweight title fight between interim champion Renan Barao and challenger Michael McDonald.

Poirier (13-2) is coming off the first round submission win over Jonathan Brookins in his last outing at the TUF 16 Finale. Poirier had lost a spirited bout against “The Korean Zombie” in the fight before that.

Swanson (18-5) is coming off a KO win over Charles Oliveira in his last outing at UFC 152. He has won three consecutive fights, and all of them have been of the TKO/KO variety with Swanson winning the “Knockout of the Night” award in his last two fights.
