Strikeforce Heavyweight GP winner Daniel Cormier will take on relatively unknown Dion Staring on Saturday night in what will be the final Strikeforce event. The will be the co-main event of the Strikeforce: Marquardt vs. Saffiedine card that will take place in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Cormier talks about the bout with Staring on how he’ll have to be the one who determines how the fight will go. According to Cormier, Staring has the ability to make the fight an “ugly” fight by using the clinch position and not allowing his opponents much space to operate.

Cormier touched on the subject of fighters potentially faking injuries so they wouldn’t have to fight on this final Strikeforce card and transition over to the UFC. Cormier also talks about having unfinished business with former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir and more.
