The Ranik Ultimate Fighting Federation will crown China’s first MMA National Champions at their next event at the Inner Mongolia Indoor Stadium which will take place on February 2 in Hohhot, China.

In the last 17 months, 48 fighters have competed inside the RUFF cage, and now, after 69 fights, the field has been narrowed down to 10 competitors, five of whom will walk away with RUFF’s MMA national championship belts and 1-million RMB in prize money. However, four of the five fights will feature rematches from previous RUFF events with the lone first time match up taking place between featherweights Wang Guan and Wu ChengJie.

Jumabieke Tuerxun will be facing Irshaad Sayed in a for the bantamweight MMA national championship. Tuerxun took a split decision win over Sayed in their earlier RUFF match.

Rodrigo Caporal will face Wu HaoTian for the lightweight MMA national championship. Caporal is a former jiu-jitsu world champion, but was able to defeat HaoTian via KO in their initial encounter.

Liu PingYuan and Zhang MeiXuan will meet in a flyweight matchup to crown the MMA national champion. PingYuan and MeiXuan have fought one another twice with each fighter winning one fight, so this third match will settle the trilogy once and for all.

RUFF is China’s only government-sanctioned MMA organization, and at the 2013 RMB 1,000,000 Super Fight, RUFF will become the first MMA organization in the world to crown MMA national champions.
