Having a great time living the dream.  This week has been great, first off, I am just that much closer to being in the UFC.  A big thanks to Ronda for getting her foot in and opening the doors; I am truly grateful.

I never thought in my career that I would even be close to that opportunity, wow, all I can say is wow!! I have been training my butt off, as always looking for a fight.

Had a promoter call yesterday and offered me a semi-pro K-1 kickboxing match here in Montana against a girl that I have written about in a previous blog.

I am allowing her do dictate the rules: Shin guards, 16 oz. gloves, no knees to the head, single knee in the clinch, no elbows, oh and a one-handed clinch at that. Three 1.5 minute rounds, with a 1 minute break between.

I am game, she just should be careful what she wishes for, that’s all… Her nick name for MMA is “jitsu”, weird  — and she doesn’t want to fight me MMA.  Well, if I was her, I wouldn’t want to go to the ground with me either; however, this is the next best thing.

Time to serve up some of Mamma Red’s Humble Pie. This is supposed to happen January 25th in Great Falls, Mont. Lets just hope she doesn’t come down with some sort of excuse…

My teammate Ferg has also agreed to fight on that same card, so it will be an awesome night of showcasing our skills and showing what Team Vidonic is all about!

The UFC card this weekend was great, lots of exciting fights, especially the GSP/Condit fight.  And congrats to Matt Riddle for his W.

Love having dinner with friends, thanks Allan for having us over, its always fun! Can’t wait because Thanksgiving is Thursday! We have no family here, but our friends are the best family we could ask for!

Going to Kat and Jake’s in the later afternoon for food and festivities! Maybe stopping by some other friends’ houses as well! I am thankful to be able to do what I love, pass it on when I can no longer and be in the best shape of my life! I am able to help out others with my job also, I think my mom would be proud…

Lastly, check out the pics and video below, my son is doing great BMXing and he has made his first official little video, please enjoy it and share it if you like! For only starting to ride in the middle of the spring, he has found something he is very passionate about and good at. We are so proud of him! Did I mention that he has his own job and pays for his own parts too! Love that kid!
