The headline bout for RUFF 6 has been confirmed as Rodrigo Caporal (7-4) faces Arthit Hanchana (3-5-1) in a lightweight match-up. The event is set to take place in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China on Saturday, Nov. 3.

RUFF officials announced the bout on Friday via official press release.

The show will also feature a co-main event between Liu PingYuan and Shang ZhiFa who will face off in a featherweight showdown. With just two fights remaining before the 2013 RMB 1,000,000 Super Fight, RUFF 6 will prove to be a pivotal night for a handful of fighters, as they attempt to move one step closer to realizing their dream of becoming China’s first MMA National Champion.

More on RUFF 6, including updated fight match-ups and television broadcast information is yet to be announced.

Rodrigo Caporal is currently riding a three fight winning streak, most recently defeating Haotian Wu via second round KO at RUFF 5 in September. Prior to that he scored a split decision victory over Lipeng Zhang at RUFF 3 in March, and a first round submission win over Teerjiang Hasitieer at RUFF 2 in December 2011. Caporal will now look to extend his winning streak to four with a big performance against Hanchana.

Arthit Hanchana last fought at RUFF 5 in September, where he scored a first round submission victory over Teerjiang Hasitieer. Prior to that he defeated Lipeng Zhang via third round submission at RUFF 4 in June. That win snapped a three fight losing streak that Hanchana had been on during 2009/2010 fighting on the regional circuit in China. Arthit will no doubt look to put in a big performance against Caporal on Nov. 3.
