A new bout has been added to the UFC 154 card as Chad Griggs (11-2) faces Cyrille Diabate (18-8-1) in a light-heavyweight battle. The event is set to take place at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada, on Nov. 17.

UFC officials announced the new fight today.

UFC 154 is expected to feature a headline bout between current welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and interim champ Carlos Condit. The main card will air LIVE on PPV with the prelims expected to air on FX and Facebook.

Chad Griggs was last in action at UFC 145 in April, where he dropped a first round submission loss to Travis Browne. That loss snapped a six fight winning streak Griggs had built up, defeating notable fighters such as Bobby Lashley, Gianpiero Villante and Valentijn Overeem in the Strikeforce promotion. Chad will no doubt look to bounce back from his last fight with a big performance against Diabate.

Cyrille Diabate last fought at UFC on FUEL TV 2 in April, where he scored a unanimous decision victory over Tom DeBlass. Prior to that he dropped a second round submission to Anthony Perosh at UFC 138 in November 2011. Diabate has gone 2-2 in his last four fights and has struggled to string together consecutive victories within the UFC. He now has a chance to break that trend with a big win over Griggs, which would take him one step higher in the light-heavyweight division.
