Sometimes even when an opponent knows what’s coming, it still cannot be stopped. Ronda Rousey again went to her signature submission, locking up a fight-ending armbar in less than a minute to defeat Sarah Kaufman.

Rousey wasted little time closing the distance, flashing her jab and using a right hand to setup a clinch against the cage. From there the takedown came quickly and Rousey immediately went for the arm of Kaufman. The challenger tried desperately to fight off the submission, rolling numerous times to defend, but the tap came at 54 seconds of the opening round.

Rousey who is a perfect 6-0, has won all of her bouts by armbar, all in the first round. In the post-fight interview, the champion issued a challenge to Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos.

“First of all I need to send out a challenge to Ms. “Cyborg” out there,” Rousey said. “People want to see you have the first fair fight of your life, I’m the champ now. The champ doesn’t go to you, you go to the champ. Come down to 135 and let’s settle this.”
