UFC lightweight champion Ben Henderson was on the latest episode of “Inside MMA” and gave his thoughts on UFC lightweight contender Nate Diaz as an opponent. In turn, Nate Diaz appeared and gave his thoughts on UFC lightweight champion Ben Henderson as an opponent. Diaz said that he thought Frankie Edgar beat Henderson but that he wanted to face Henderson more between the two fighters.

Henderson cited that the reach of Diaz will have to be dealt with and that he’ll need to keep his emotions in check because the Diaz brothers are great at getting into the minds of their opponents. Diaz said that Henderson is athletic and tough but that he trains with guys like that all the time. At the end of the interview Diaz spoke on the importance of having his first title fight:

[Expletive] the belt. I’m trying to beat the number one guy in the world and that’s him [Ben Henderson] right now.
