ProMMAnow.com’s Dan “The Wolfman” Theodore talks with UFC light heavyweight Ryan Bader about his upcoming bout with former UFC 205 pound champ Lyoto Machida. The two will face off Saturday night in the co-main event of UFC on FOX 4 taking place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Bader shared his thoughts on UFC President Dana White adding their bout to the light heavyweight title mix and if the stipulation placed on the main and co-main events of “whoever wins most impressively gets the title shot” added any extra motivation for him.

Bader discussed working with Shotokan Karate world champion Hiroshi Allen in his preparation for Machida’s unorthodox style of striking. He also talked about his wrestling background, how he and Machida match-up and if he feels comfortable going toe-to-toe, blow-for-blow with the Karate Kid.
