A new bout has been added to the UFC 154 card as Francis Carmont (19-7) faces Tom Lawlor (8-4) in a middleweight battle. The event will take place at the Bell Centre in Montreal on Nov. 17.

News of this bout has been reported by various sources, but was originally reported by MMAFighting.com.

UFC 154 will air LIVE on PPV with the prelims expected to air on FX. Although not yet confirmed, the event is likely to be headlined by a welterweight title match between Georges St.Pierre and Carlos Condit.

Francis Carmont is currently riding an eight fight winning streak, most recently defeating Karlos Vemola via second round submission at the ‘UFC on Fuel TV: Munoz vs. Weidman’ event in July. Prior to that he scored a second round submission victory over Magnus Cedenblad in April, and in his UFC debut he defeated Chris Camozzi via unanimous decision at UFC 137 in October 2011.

Tom Lawlor last fought at UFC on Fuel TV 3 in May, where he scored a first round knockout victory over Jason MacDonald. Prior to that he was defeated by Chris Weidman who won via first round submission, but picked up a unanimous decision win over Patrick Cote at UFC 121. Lawlor will no doubt look to begin a winning streak for himself with a bit win over the fast rising Carmont.
