Show 148 is a one-sided show, and it’s one I know you’re going to love. It’s been awhile since we have focused on WMMA and there is no time like the present as Invicta FC 2 is right around the corner. I know you fellas love WMMA, but I also know the female fans love it too! Everyone loves WMMA and this week the whole show is focused on the biggest female promotion in the world. That’s right Invicta FC is taking over the shop and we’ve got some of the best fighters from their upcoming card.
Michele Gutierrez
Our first guest is no stranger to the world of WMMA as she brings an “Army” with her. The “Diablita Army” will be happy to hear that Michele “Diablita” Gutierrez is kicking off things this week and we have plenty to talk about. Michele is stepping out of the cage and stepping into our world as she will be the first ever Invicta FC Inside reporter. From the sounds of things Michele will be bringing you backstage access that no other show in the world has brought you. She will be with the fighters before the fights and I can’t wait to talk to her about her new job. We will talk to Michele about her recent move and where she is training now. Alexis Davis
Alexis Davis is our next guest and I can’t wait to talk her Invicta FC fight against Hitomi Akano as we see the #6 and #7 135 lb females square off. We will talk to Alexis about making her Invicta FC debut against such a tough opponent. Alexis is currently signed to Strikeforce and I can’t wait to talk to her about this and the future of WMMA moving to Invicta which I predict will happen. Alexis is looking to get back to the winner’s circle after a tough loss to Sarah Kaufman. We have plenty to talk to Alexis about. Liz Carmouche
The second hour we take you deep into the jungle, that’s right you’re surrounded by dense vegetation and humidity so thick you could cut it with a knife. You hear something in the bushes not far from you, your heart starts to skip beats… Whatever is back there it is scary and when it’s out of the bushes you’re rushed by the hard hitting, ground-and-pound queen Liz “the GIRL-RILLA” Carmouche. Back once again and ready to talk her upcoming fight, Liz is ready to pick up her second Invicta FC win. We last saw Liz in action on April 28, as she punched her way to a TKO victory in the first round. Liz is set to face Kaitlin Young and I can’t wait to talk the fight, her future, and her current deal with Strikeforce. Okay so you’ve heard that big things come in little packages. Well I don’t care about what you heard because we have Carla Esparza wrapping up the show and this girl can fight! Go back and watch her last fight against Felice Herrig and tell me this girl isn’t one to keep an eye or two on. Carla is set to take on Sarah Schneider. We will talk to Carla about her current schedule leading up to this fight, her goals for this year, her current contract situation and much more.
