Both fights took place on the UFC 147 main card at the Estadio Jornalista Felipe Drumond in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

Rony “Jason” Bezerra took on Godofredo “Pepey” de Oliveira and won via decision to become the first ever winner of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil. The fight began with the two men going toe-to-toe with their striking. Oliveira managed to pull guard and attempt a kimura submission but Bezerra was able to get himself free. As the fight went on we saw Pepey repeatedly try to pull guard without success, and also administer a couple of accidental low blows to Rony which nearly resulted in a point being deducted. Bezerra managed to land more significant strikes during the bout in which the judges ruled in his favor.
