ProMMAnow.com‘s (www.prommanow.com) coverage of “XFC 18: Music City Mayhem” continues with this interview with Strikeforce veteran and undefeated Tennessee featherweight Luke Sanders (3-0) who will be facing Lexington, Kentucky’s Zach Sanders (4-1) on the HDNet televised main card Friday night.

Luke was originally supposed to fight Knoxville’s Chris Wright, but Wright was forced to withdraw due to injury and Zach Sanders filled in. Luke spoke with us about the injury epidemic that seems to be plaguing pro mixed martial arts right now and he shared his thoughts on some things that can help decrease the chances of injury during training camp.

Luke talked with us about his training camp for this bout, his athletic background and how much he knows about his opponent. Luke’s training partners have dubbed him “One Speed Luke” and he explained the meaning behind the nickname.
