UFC 147 headliners Wanderlei Silva and Rich Franklin, along with co-headliners Mike Russow and Fabricio Werdum, participated in a conference call with the media on Tuesday.
Silva discussed fighting in his home country of Brazil and the change of opponents from Vitor Belfort to Rich Franklin. Franklin discussed going to Singapore to train for his original opponent Cung Le. He talked about how his first fight with Silva, which took place in 2009, would play into this bout, his desire to return to 185 pounds and much more.
Russow talked about juggling his career as a Chicago police officer with fighting and what a win over Werdum would do for his UFC career. Werdum talked about his impressions of Russow and his desire for the title.
