UFC heavyweight Stefan Struve

The UFC announced today that UFC Nottingham (UFC on Fuel TV 5) will be headlined by a heavyweight fight between up and comers Stefan Struve and Stipe Miocic. Both fighters are coming off wins at UFC 146 last month and look to climb up the heavyweight ladder.

Miocic (9-0) took out Shane del Rosario via TKO in the second round at UFC 146. The former Golden Gloves champion and standout wrestler at Cleveland State University has seven wins via TKO/KO and one submission victory to his credit. He’s currently 3-0 in the UFC.

Stefan Struve (24-5) took out heavy hitter Lavar Johnson via submission in just over a minute at UFC 146. The “Skyscraper” has a total of 11 UFC fights so far with an overall record in the octagon of 8-3. All three losses have come via TKO/KO.

UFC on Fuel TV 5 will air LIVE on FUEL TV and take place on September 29th at the Capital FM Arena in Nottingham, England.

  • Stefan Struve vs. Stipe Miocic
  • Brad Pickett vs. Yves Jabouin
  • Andy Ogle vs. Akira Corasani
