ProMMAnow.com (www.prommanow.com) reporter Joe Gugelman was on the scene in Long Beach, Calif. over the weekend for the 2012 World Jiu Jitsu Expo and caught up with Rener Gracie (@RenerGracie).
Rener gave his thoughts on the superfight match-ups and said he thought Nick Diaz would either win by submission or lose by points. Of course, we know now, that Nick never showed up for the match.
Rener explains why he feels the Gracie Breakdown videos have really caught on and become so popular and he also explains why Jiu Jitsu is the perfect solution to bullying. Rener says Jiu Jitsu is the only art that gives a person the resources to completely dominate the bully without causing any excessive damage.
The Gracie “Bullyproof” program, according to Rener, has been deemed reasonable defense and “authorized” on school campuses because it is all defensive and a non-violent way to neutralize the bully.
