CODY BOLLINGER
Kicking things off this week for show 138 is a kid who’s 21 and making a name for himself. Cody Bollinger plans on taking one more step to doing that as he takes on Veteran Din Thomas on May 12. I can’t wait to talk to Cody about this fight and taking on someone of Din’s caliber.
Cody trains out of Millennia MMA as well as Jackson’s MMA, so the level of training that Cody gets on the regular should have him ready for anyone in the sport. You know we will talk to Cody about his future in the sport and when he wants to be on the big stage, getting into the sport, and much more. The next hour of the show we are turning things over to Lion Fight Promotions out here in Las Vegas, NV. Lion Fight Promotions is one of the countries biggest and best ran Muay Thai Promotions in the nation. Okay so you might wonder why we are giving them an hour, well it’s cause they have two MMA Fighters with pretty solid reputations stepping into the ring to test their stand up skills.
JAVIER TORRES
Javier Torres is a guy you might recognize from his time on The Ultimate Fighter. We will talk to Javier about his desire to step into the ring for Lion Fight Promotions and taking on a fellow MMA fighter in Michael. Javier is 3-1 as a pro MMA fighter and just returned from Jungle Fights and I’m sure we will have plenty to talk about with Chunty Boy. Follow Javier on twitter @JavierTorresMMA
MICHAEL MADRID
His opponent and the second guest featured from Lion Fight Promotions is Michael Madrid. Michael is a member of Wand Fight team here in Las Vegas. We will talk to Michael about his desire as well to step into the ring and lace up the leather. I can’t wait to talk to Michael about how this fight came about and how it ended up with him and Javier being opponents as they both come from MMA.
Michael just picked up a great win over Waachiim Spiritwolf. We will talk to Michael about what is next for him after this fight, and if he would ever want to fight Javier in an MMA match after they square off in the ring and of course we will talk to Michael about Alaska and what brought him to Vegas. Make sure to tune in as we talk to both these guys and switch things up and talk a lil Muay Thai for a change.
JUSTIN BUCHHOLZ
Our last guest is Justin Buchholz. Justin is a member of Team Alpha Male so you know we got plenty to talk about from this season of The Ultimate Fighter and Team Faber. Justin has had an interesting career and I can’t wait to talk to him about it. Justin has fought for the UFC, EliteXC, Icon Sports (where he held a belt), and SCC.
We will talk to Justin about his recent fights at SCC and his goals for 2012. Justin had an amazing KO at SCC 1 that I had the pleasure of watching from cageside.
