On Pro MMA Now Radio‘s inaugural episode Thursday night, we welcomed RUFF (Ranik Ultimate Fighting Federation) co-founder Joel Resnick to the show. RUFF is the first government sanctioned professional mixed martial arts promotion in China and they are gearing up for their third event, RUFF 3, which will take place this weekend in Chongqing.
Joel talked with us about the current MMA climate in China and RUFF’s plans to build homegrown Chinese talent. Joel also shared his thoughts on the UFC coming into China and how that may or may not affect RUFF’s operations. Mixed martial arts continues to grow and spread around the world and RUFF is one more example of that evolution.
In addition to talking to RUFF’s Joel Resnick, hosts Gary Thomas and Jack Bratcher talked about some breaking Bellator news, The Ultimate Fighter Live on FX, FOX asking Joe Rogan to ‘turn it down a notch” and much more. Visit the RUFF website at www.ruffchina.com, follow RUFF on Twitter at @RUFFChina and on Facebook. Pro MMA Now Radio will air LIVE each Thursday night at 10 p.m. ET (7 p.m. PT) on www.BlogTalkRadio.com/ProMMAnowradio.
