The UFC announced the main event of the UFC on FX 4 event that’s slated for June 22nd in Atlantic City, New Jersey, this past weekend. They announced four more bouts for the event today beginning with Dan Miller dropping down to the welterweight division to take on Ricardo Funch. Also, Matt Riddle will take on Luis Ramos in a welterweight bout. Jersey native Rich Attonito will face Rick Story in a welterweight clash, and Nick Catone will face Chris Camozzi in a middleweight bout.

Dan Miller vs. Ricardo Funch at 170 lbs.

Dan Miller (13-6) is coming off back to back unanimous decision losses to Nate Marquardt and Rousimar Palhares as a middleweight. Miller who has fought a who’s who list of fighters in the UFC, is (2-3) in his last five fights and will be making his welterweight debut in hopes or reviving his career.

Ricardo Funch (8-3) is coming off a devastating TKO loss at the hands of Mike Pyle back at UFC 134. He’s (1-3) in his last four bouts and desperately needs a win here if he wants to stay in the UFC more than likely. He’s lost all three of his UFC fights.

Matt Riddle vs. Luis Ramos at 170 lbs.

Matt Riddle (6-3) is coming off a hard fought split decision win against Henry Martinez at UFC 143. It was a win that Riddle definitely needed as he had lost his last two fights although he won fight of the night in one of those bouts. An interesting note about Riddle is that he has fought his entire career in the UFC after being a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter season seven.

Luis Ramos (19-7) is coming off a TKO loss against Erick Silva at UFC 134 in his UFC debut. Ramos has been around for a long time and is a SHOOTO veteran among several other promotions in which he has competed. He’s a tough fighter that’s difficult to finish and most of his wins have come via decision.

Rich Attonito vs. Rick Story at 170 lbs.

Rich Attonito (10-5) is coming off a TKO loss to Jake Hecht at UFC 140 and was (3-1) coming into that bout including his win of the TUF 11 Finale. Attonito had previously fought as a middleweight prior to dropping down to the welterweight division. This will be his third welterweight bout and the UFC did him no favors in matching him up with a fighter like Rick Story.

Rick Story (13-5) is coming off of back to back losses after getting the biggest win of his career against Thiago Alves last year. However, one of those losses came against Charlie Brenneman in which Story agreed to fight when Nate Marquardt was pulled from their bout literally hours before they were supposed to fight. Story won six consecutive fights after losing his UFC debut and will be looking to right the ship with a win in Attonito’s backyard.

Nick Catone vs. Chris Camozzi at 185 lbs.

Nick Catone (9-2) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Constantinos Philippou back at UFC 128. It’ll over a year since Catone has competed as he’s been dealing with several injuries over the past year or so. Catone is (2-2) in his last four bouts, winning the last two via unanimous and split decision respectively.

Chris Camozzi (16-5) is coming off a submission win over Dustin Jacoby at the UFC on FOX 2 event earlier this year. Camozzi is (3-2) in his last five fights dating back to 2010. Camozzi was also a contestant on season 11 of The Ultimate Fighter.

The venue will be named at a later date, but stay tuned to Pro MMA Now (www.prommanow.com) as more updates become available with this event.
