Atlanta, GA February 15th 2012- SportFight X “Southeastern MMA’s Ultimate Proving Ground” is gearing up for their long awaited Alabama debut. The company announced their upcoming Huntsville, AL event in late January but little information about the fight card has been unleashed. Today SportFight X released a portion of the run down set to take place Saturday March 24th from the Von Braun Center. The event has the appearance of a showdown between Alabama and Georgia and will be broadcast on pay-per-view.

The SportFight X Main Event will take place in the featherweight division between Stephen Wilhite representing Triad Martial Arts in Cullman, AL and Luke Neyland representing X3 Sports from Atlanta, GA. The fight will feature both combatants making their professional debut. Wilhite and Neyland both have scored notable victories over good opponents in the SportFight X cage.

The SFX Co-Main Event will come in the welterweight division as Matt Smart (3-1) of Sturgis MMA in Huntsville, AL and Will Kuhn (7-9) of X3 Sports in Atlanta, GA square off.

The SportFight X feature fight leading to the final fights will take place in the welterweight division as local fighter Matt Vaughan (1-2) of Sturgis MMA takes on the Georgian Steve Hall of X3 Sports. Both fighters will be looking to pick up the win in what could be a stand-up war.

The company is in the process of signing additional professional fights that will include a few well known fighters from the region such as Sasuke Zapata and Justin Pennington to name a few.
