Top Canadian welterweight Ryan Ford expects to make his Bellator Fighting Championships debut in April, the fighter recently told the MMA Outsider podcast.

With a 16-4 record as a professional, Ford signed with Bellator last summer. He has held the Maximum Fighting Championships welterweight title and has notable wins over UFC veterans Karo Parisyan, Tom Speer, and Pete Spratt.

Ford also discussed his recent move to the Tristar Gym, led by head coach Firas Zahabi and featuring a slew of top fighters, including Georges St. Pierre, Rory MacDonald, Miguel Torres, and more.
