Thursday’s “UFC 142: Aldo vs. Mendes” pre-fight press conference took place at the Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in preparation for Saturday’s Pay-Per-View fight card to be held at Rio’s HSBC Arena.
UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo, along with his main event opponent Chad Mendes, as well as middleweight co-headliners Vitor Belfort and Anthony “Rumble” Johnson answered questions from the media.
Marshall Zelaznik, UFC managing director of international development, led the proceedings as UFC president Dana White was held up due to a delayed flight.
