It was announced today that the UFC on FUEL TV 2 event will take place in Stockholm, Sweden, on April 14th in the Ericsson Globe Arena.

Two fights were also announced for the card. A middleweight bout between Alessio Sakara and Brian Stann as well as a welterweight bout between Papy Abedi and James Head.

Alessio Sakara (15-8) is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Chris Weidman in March of 2011. Sakara had won three bouts in a row prior to that fight. He’ll be taking on Brian Stann (11-4) who is also coming off a loss, a submission loss to Chael Sonnen at UFC 136.

Papy Abedi (8-1) is coming off a submission loss to top ten welterweight Thiago Alves in his UFC debut back at UFC 138. Abedi will be facing James Head (7-2) who is also coming off a submission loss to Nick Ring back at UFC 131.

This event will be the second LIVE event to air on FUEL TV with the initial show taking place next month with Jake Ellenberger vs. Diego Sanchez being featured in the main event. You can find out more information on that event right here.
