If you watched UFC 141, you know that Richard crapped the bed with his predictions and I did OK overall, even though Nate Diaz and Johny Hendricks made me look like a moron. But we’re still professionals and know exactly what we’re talking about. I promise.

Alos, at UFC 141, rising lightweight contender Danny Castillo picked up a big win over feared striker Anthony Njokuani. Even though Castillo took the bout on short notice, he gutted out a tough three-round decision by taking Njokuani down and imposing his will.

In this bonus episode for the week, Danny gives his thoughts on the fight and when he would like to get back in the cage. Also, since two of his Team Alpha Male teammates — Urijah Faber and Chad Mendes — have title fights on the horizon, Castillo gave his predictions on those contests as well. Spoiler alert: he doesn’t pick Jose Aldo and Dominick Cruz to retain their UFC titles.

After making fun of ourselves for some crappy end of the year predictions, we take a stab at what we think will be the top biggest story of 2012. And even though this weekend’s Strikeforce card looks weak on paper, we break that down too. Feel free to makes your bets based on the opposite of what we suggest. Happy friggin’ new year.
