In anticipation of the upcoming UFC light heavyweight championship bout between Jon “Bones” Jones and Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida, which takes place this Saturday, Dec. 10, in the UFC 140 main event, THQ and UFC Undisputed 3 ran 25 AI simulations of the fight.

What they found was Jones retained his belt 72% of the time. He also landed 42% more strikes than Machida. In 25 matches, Machida only scored one knockdown, and out of all of Jones’ wins, only one came via submission.

Check out the video simulation below for more facts and statistics from the 25 matches and then tune in to UFC 140 this Saturday, live from Toronto, Canada, to see how close the simulations were to the real life results. UFC Undisputed 3 hits store shelves on Tuesday, February 14, on Xbox 360 and PS3.
