SAGINAW, MICHIGAN – This Friday, December 2, Donofrio MMA will return to the beautifully remodeled 5000-seat Dow Event Center in Saginaw, Michigan, for “BEATDOWN II” another night of full-contact mixed martial arts.
The 145-lbmain event will feature agile, precision striking Jake May (12-1) from Saginaw, Michigan, taking on Clinton Township via Colombia’s Judo/Sambo specialist Austin Delargey (10-2) in a 145-lb battle between two of Michigan’s premier featherweights.
With only three losses between them in 25 combined fights, both these warriors are coming in certain of victory.
“Both these guys are expert wrestlers who like to mix it up on their feet,” said event promoter Joseph Donofrio of Donofrio MMA. “Austin Delargey is known for his slams. He’ll slam you and then let you back up, just so he can slam you again. And Jake May has tremendous punching power. He can get you out of there with one shot. This fight has explosive written all over it.”
With 19 exciting matchups put together by matchmaker extraordinaire Ann Morell, BEATDOWN II will be a mammoth festival of pain featuring the State’s best fighters.
Known as much for their elaborate elite-level productions as their exciting matchups, BEATDOWN II will be a feast for the eyes and ears, as beautiful cage girls, thumping music, an amazing light show as well as the superb work of ring announcer Phil “The Voice” Davey will turn the night into an unforgettable spectacle of sound and fury.
