UFC 138: Leben vs. Munoz” took place Saturday night, Nov. 5, at LG Arena in Birmingham, England. Middleweight contender Mark Munoz was able to make iron-chinned brawler Chris Leben quit on his stool following the second round of action in the night’s main event.

In other main card action, Nova Uniao bantamweight and BJJ black belt Renan Barao choked out Englishman Brad Pickett in the first round. ATT’s Thiago “Pitbull” Alves scored his first UFC submission victory and gave Sweden’s Papy Abedi his very first professional loss in what was an extremely tough UFC debut. Australian grappler Anthony Perosh choked out French striker Cyrille Diabate. And England’s Terry Etim made short work of  Hawaii’s Eddie Faaloloto with a a rear-naked choke submission just 17 seconds into the bout.

Following the UFC 138 main card, which aired via tape delay on Spike TV in the U.S., the night’s winners, along with UFC President Dana White, gathered for the traditional post-fight press conference which can be viewed below.   1. I really like Mark Munoz. He keeps progressing and could give champ Silva some problems one day. At 33 though, he’s just a little old.
