ProMMAnow.com (www.prommanow.com) reporter Joe Gugelman caught up with UFC no. 1 middleweight contender Chael Sonnen over the weekend at the UFC Undisputed 3 pre-launch party that coincided with UFC 137 in Las Vegas.
Sonnen swears he has never once played as Anderson Silva in the UFC video game. He also says he is not going to wait around for Silva if he does not want to fight and the difference between himself and “The Spider” is that he will fight anyone.
Sonnen has some very direct words for Vitor Belfort who has himself been vocal lately about wanting a fight with the Team Quest product. Sonnen also shares his thoughts on his win over Brian Stann and possibly working with him in the future.
And finally, something that many fans may find shocking or unusual for a cage fighter, Sonnen explains the close relationship he has with his mother and how she is present and helps out at each of his training sessions.
