Thank you all for being a part of my journey through my career.  I work very hard, and it paid off once again!!  I defeated my opponent (Chelsea Colarelli) via RNC at 4:04 of round 2.  Here is how it ended…I had her in a triangle, I got the sweep to a mount.

After I landed some strikes she escaped from the back and I know if I was still able to touch her, her back was all mine.  And that is exactly what I did; took her back, maybe one hook in and sunk in the choke.  Chelsea tapped quickly, I stopped when the ref told me to.

I really wanted to work my stand up in this fight, but in the 1st round I heard my coach say, “You need to get her on the ground.” So that’s what I did, and I dominated from there.  I got a nice double leg takedown up against the cage and worked on top striking and throwing elbows till the end of the round.

Between rounds Jason, my coach told me to “Stop screwing around with your stand up.  Just get her on the ground and finish it!”  I replied with “okay”, took another drink of water, and did just that!  The crowd went wild, we got fight of the night and I couldn’t be happier!

Well, actually I would be if my stand up was as good  in the cage as it is in the gym.  So I know what Ill be working on, starting Monday.  My game is on the ground I have smooth transitions and I am comfortable and safe on my back.  I listened to my coach (which is a HUGE part of the game).

We had the honor of staying with some of our dear friends, Col. Tim, Arlene and Sam.  Friday was Arlene’s Birthday and I am so glad everyone had such a blast!  Our plane took off a little after 4 p.m. from Ashville.  It was a long trip home, crying and screaming babies on the airplanes plus no earplugs, equals sleep deprived. LOL

Either way it doesn’t stop me, Monday I was back in the gym rolling with my coach and hitting mitts.  I just cannot stay away…Trying to seal up a fight here in Billings with Fusion Fight League who is teaming up with one of my sponsors, Octane Addictions to bring Billings an amazing night of fights and dirt bikes!!  Also big news hopefully for December, so stay tuned!!

I want to thank Jack and ProMMANow.com, I want to thank Scott Crosby and Janet Martin with BlackEye Promotions for the amazing time in North Carolina.  I cannot wait to come back and put on another Fight of the Night performance!!

Thank you Jason, my head coach.  Aaron, Kiko and Dave for working on my striking.  Can’t wait to go over the video to pick it apart!  Time to learn, grow and improve.  A big thanks to all of my training/sparring partners and of course, my re-hydration coach, Mark!  I would be super thirsty with out you buddy!
