Zuffa paid out a total of $942,000 in salaries to the fighters that competed at “Strikeforce: Barnett vs. Kharitonov” on Saturday, Sept. 10, at U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Headliner Josh Barnett topped the fighter payroll, bringing in $150,000 for his first round submission win over Sergei Kharitonov in the Strikeforce Heavyweight GP semifinals.

In the other semifinal tournament bout, Daniel Cormier brought home a pay day of $100,000 for his first round knockout of Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva.

In the night’s lone championship bout, Luke Rockhold pocketed $50,000 for his unanimous decision win over Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza to take home the Strikeforce middleweight title.
