This past weekend Reagan Penn, the brother of MMA legend and former UFC lightweight and welterweight champion B.J. Penn, made his professional mixed martial arts debut at the Pro Elite 2.0 event in Honolulu, Hawaii. Penn took on Nashville MMA product Paul Gardiner who came into the bout with a 1-0 pro record according to Fight Finder (Pro Elite says he was 3-0). What happened is probably what you would expect to happen when someone who grew up training with B.J. Penn every day of his life fights an unknown prospect with one pro fight under his belt.

So what do you think fight fans, is Reagan Penn:

  • a. The next big thing in MMA
  • b. All hype
  • c. Talented, but too early to tell how he will do in MMA
