With Antonio Rogerio Nogueira's (left) withdrawal from UFC 133, Rich Franklin was left without an opponent.

The UFC 133 fight card has taken yet another hit. The Aug. 6 event, set to take place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pa., has lost its co-main event match-up between Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Rich Franklin.

UFC President Dana White announced via Twitter late Saturday that Nogueira had pulled out of the fight and they were working on a new fight.

A UFC.com report has since confirmed that instead of finding a short-notice replacement for the injured Nogueira to face Franklin, the bout will be scrapped altogether

The light heavyweight match-up between Vitor Belfort vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama will move into the co-main event slot, and the middleweight match-up between Dennis Hallman vs. Brian Ebersole will move up to the Pay-Per-View main card.
