ProMMAnow.com reported yesterday about Bellator 47‘s stacked “Feature Fights” card. Today it has been confirmed a heavyweight special feature bout between Neil “Goliath” Grove and Zak Jensen has been added to the card.
Grove (10-3-1), born in South Africa and fighting out of London, England, is a UFC 95 veteran and was also a finalist in Bellator’s season three heavyweight tournament where he lost to Cole Konrad via first round submission.
The bout will mark Jensen’s (10-6) Bellator debut. The Minnesota native is coming off a 16-second TKO victory over Jason Ackerman at Extreme Beatdown last November.
Bellator 47 will air LIVE on MTV2 from Casino Rama in Rama, Ontario, Canada, on Saturday, July 23, and will feature Bellator’s Summer Series featherweight tournament semifinals.
