According to report from the Daily Telegraph, Tom Lawlor has been forced out of his UFC Live 5 bout with Kyle Noke with an undisclosed injury. Now, Ed Herman will step in to replace the former TUF competitor. The card takes place Aug. 14 at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wis..

Herman returned to action for the first time since August 2009, when he faced off against Tim Credeur at The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale. “Short Fuse” made his return in dramatic fashion as he starched his opponent in only 48 seconds. Since finishing second on the third season of “The Ultimate Fighter,” Herman has built a 5-3 record with victories over Scott Smith, Joe Doerksen and David Loiseau.

Since failing to win the reality show, Noke has put together a 3-0 record in the UFC and extended his current winning streak to five straight. In his last fight, he submitted Chris Camozzi in the first round at UFC 127.

The UFC’s first-ever trip to Wisconsin will feature a welterweight contest between Dan Hardy and Chris Lytle. Hardy desperately needs to put on a stellar performance after dropping his last three fights. The main card will air live on the Versus network.
