NEW YORK, NY – June 29, 2011 –MTV2 closed out the second quarter of 2011 as its highest rated in history with P12-34 (+ 11% from 2Q10) and Total Viewers (+14% from 2Q10). Among M12-34, it was MTV2’s highest rated second quarter ever, including rating increases with its returning series Sucker Free Countdown (+6% from last season) and Funk Flex Full Throttle (+10% from last season), and time period improvement with its new series Bellator Fighting Championships (+11%).

2Q11 Series Highlights:

· New series Bellator Fighting Championships improved its time period (Saturday/9-11pm) by +11% among M12-34 and delivered the MTV2’s highest M18-49 rating in history.

· Returning series Funk Flex Full Throttle was up +10% from its first season with M12-34.

· Signature franchise Sucker Free Countdown was up +6% with M12-34. Sucker Free Countdown’s lineup in 2Q11 included Lil Wayne, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, Wiz Khalefa and Pitbull, among others.

MTV2 continues its momentum this summer with new and returning series to feed the passion points of young men with music, cars and action. Most recently, the premiere of Burnout: The Ultimate Drag Race Challenge, hosted by Carey Hart, improved its time period by +50% for M12-34 on June 25th.

Later this summer, MTV2 will premiere The Dub Magazine Project on Sunday, July 10th, as well as the highly anticipated return of the groundbreaking music series, MTV2’s 120 Minutes with Matt Pinfield, in late July. In addition, MTV2 is set to broadcast the Bellator Fighting Championship Summer Series on Saturday, July 23rd and Saturday, August 20th, as well as the Lingerie Football League All Fantasy Game on Saturday, July 30th in anticipation of the return to weekly live events this fall.
