On Saturday, grappling all-star Robert Drysdale continued his undefeated run in MMA. He defeated Mike Nickels, a veteran of the third season of “The Ultimate Fighter,” at AFC 6 in Victoria, British Columbia.

Drysdale earned a spot in grappling history in 2007. He submitted Marcelo Garcia in the finals of the ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championship absolute division, and he also finished third in the under 99 kg. He is also a multiple time medalist at the IBJJF World Championships.

With his victory over Nickels, Drysdale moves his professional record to 3-0. He also holds wins under the AFC banner over Bastien Huveneers and Clay Davidson. Nickles, a multiple time Pan American BJJ medalist in his own right, falls to 9-5 in MMA.
