Job posting for UFC fighter at Jobbi.com

My how the times change.

Fighters who are interested in testing themselves in the world’s most elite mixed martial arts organization can now simply apply on Jobbi.com, a site used by job seekers and employers to connect with one another (similar to Monster, Careerbuiler, etc.).

Applicants can post their profiles, videos, photos and fight history on Jobbi.com and the application is then shared directly with UFC management for review.

Lawrence Vaughan, co-founder of Jobbi.com explained the process which also allows UFC fans to get involved:

“Together with the UFC, we’ve created a streamlined process that makes it simple for new fighters and UFC management to connect with each other. There is also a social component that makes it easy for general public to get involved. People can talk with fighters, watch videos of applicants, and show their support for their favorite fighters. … It is an exciting, ongoing process to determine who will ultimately get their dream job fighting for the UFC.”

The most popular applicants determined by public support will be featured on UFC.com and Jobbi.com. Based on fan feedback and UFC management’s evaluation, the next new UFC fighters will be selected on a recurring basis.

Looking at the application, in addition to the standard personal information, it also asks the fighter if they have at least five verifiable pro wins, weight class, manager’s name and contact info and a link to fight history.

Are you qualified? Then what are you waiting for?
