Spanish speaking mixed martial arts fans will be glad to hear that Bellator Fighting Championships‘ fourth season will begin airing on the Tr3s television network beginning Sunday, March 6, at 8 p.m. ET, and will continue to air each Sunday evening at the same time.

Spanish-language commentators will call the fights for the Latino audience.

Bellator features a host of Latino fighters on their roster including lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez, middleweight champion Hector Lombard, as well as Jose Vega, Jessica Aguilar, Nazareno “Naza” Malegaire, Patricio “Pitbull” Freire, Wilson Reis, Lyman Goodman, Chris Lozano and Daniel Gracie.

Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney commented on the promotion’s alignment with Tr3s:

“Bellator has been committed to providing the most exciting, electrifying and entertaining MMA events to our Latino fans since our premiere in 2009. With a collection of the finest Latino MMA fighters in the world, Bellator Season 4 on Tr3s will be spectacular.”

Tr3s launched in Sept. 2006, was formerly called MTV en Español and replaced Música y Más. Tr3s is owned and operated by MTV Networks Latin America, reaches 6.3 million Hispanic TV households (49% of total US Hispanic TV households) and 35 million total TV households.
