KANSAS CITY, Kan. — TUF 10 veteran Abe Wagner will step back in the cage on March 25 as he takes on Strikeforce and Bellator veteran Aaron Rosa in a heavyweight bout at Titan Fighting Championship 17 in Kansas City.

Wagner (8-3), a 30-year-old former NCAA All-American, is coming off a 32-second shellacking of ex-UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia last month in the Titan Fighting Championship 16 main event.

He commented on the win over Sylvia and carrying that momentum into the fight with Rosa:

“I think the win over Sylvia was huge for me. It’s one thing to win when nobody thinks you will; it’s another to win when nobody thinks you can. I’m just going to carry this momentum forward into my next fight. Aaron Rosa is a very skilled and respected fighter and I’m eager to test my skills against his.”

Rosa (15-3), a 27-year-old Texan, is currently riding a three-fight win streak, with his most recent victory being a unanimous decision over Devin Cole at Shark Fights 13 this past September.

Titan Fighting Championship 17 will air LIVE on HDNet and will also feature former WWE star Bobby Lashley vs. James Jack in a heavyweight bout, and UFC veteran Phil “The New York Badass” Baroni vs. Nick Nolte.
