Former WEC bantamweight champion Miguel Torres’ comeback tour will continue at UFC 130. He is set to face Brad Pickett on the card, which is scheduled May 28 in Las Vegas.

Torres defeated Chase Beebe with a guillotine choke at WEC 32 to claim the bantamweight title. He defended three times over Yoshiro Maeda, Manny Tapia and Takeya Mizugaki. In the process he worked his way onto many pound-for-pound top-ten lists.

At WEC 42, Brian Bowles surprisingly knocked Torres out and took the title. Torres then lost his second fight in a row to Joseph Benavidez. However, since that loss, he has picked up back-to-back victories over Charlie Valencia and Antonio Banuelos.

Before coming to the WEC, Pickett fought at featherweight and held the Ultimate Challenge UK title and Cage Rage British title.

The headlining bout of UFC 130 will be the rubber match between lightweight champion Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard. Also on the card, Frank Mir and Roy Nelson will face off for the first time under MMA rules. Nelson previously defeated Mir in a grappling match.
