Jan 11, 2011 – LAS VEGAS —XYIENCE, the maker of Xenergy, the official energy drink of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), which has been touted by beverage trade publications as a powerhouse in the competitive energy drink category, has renewed contracts with heavy-hitter mixed martial arts (MMA) athletes Wanderlei Silva, Matt Serra and Dan Hardy.  Jon Jones, a light heavyweight signed with XYIENCE last month. All four athletes fight in the UFC. Jones, recently named Breakthrough Fighter of the Year at the World MMA Awards, will face Ryan Bader at UFC 126 in Las Vegas on Feb. 5, 2011.

UFC cutmen Jacob “Stitch” Duran and Don House join brand ambassadors and leading MMA trainers Dave Camarillo and Vinny Magalhaes. Camarillo, the noted Brazilian jiu-jitsu coach, trains some of the leading UFC fighters including Cain Velasquez, Josh Koshcheck and Mike Swick out of American Kickboxing Academy (AKA) in San Jose, Calif. Magalhaes, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt under Royler Gracie, coaches at Tapout Training Center in Las Vegas.
