UFC middleweights Rob Kimmons and Dongi Yang will face off on UFC on Versus 3 in Louisville, Ky., on March 3. Kimmons announced on his blog that he’d have another fight in the UFC soon and MMAWeekly.com first reported the match-up.
Both men are coming off of losses. Kimmons (23-6) saw his UFC record fall to 3-3 at UFC 122, losing by second round submission to Kyle Noke. Before that, Kimmons picked up a decision win over Steve Steinbeiss.
As for Yang, he suffered his first professional loss at UFC 121 — his debut in the organization — dropping a split decision to The Ultimate Fighter 11 cast member Chris Camozzi.
