UFC middleweights and New Jersey natives Dan Miller (13-4) and Nick Catone (8-2) will square off on March 19 at UFC 128 in Newark, N.J., according to MMADiehards.com.
Miller had been riding a three-fight losing streak — albeit going the distance against top competition — before winning his last two bouts over Joe Doerksen and John Salter. Miller is now 5-3 in the Octagon.
Similarly, Catone has also had his ups and downs in the UFC, going 2-2 with the promotion. He won his debut over Derek Downey before dropping consecutive bouts to Tim Creuder and Mark Munoz. In his last fight, Catone beat Jesse Forbes by split decision on Jan. 1, 2010.
UFC 128 will be headlined by a light heavyweight showdown between current champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and top contender Rashad Evans, as well as a bantamweight bout between former titlists Urijah Faber and Eddie Wineland.
