NASHVILLE, Tenn. – With an updated preliminary card that includes an opponent for John Salter and with the recent addition of 2004 Olympian Rhadi Ferguson vs. Ion Cherdivara on the main card, the line-up for Strikeforce Challengers 13 is now complete.
ProMMAnow.com (www.prommanow.com) confirmed the completed card on Monday with sources close to the situation.
Of course there is still a week-and-a-half to go and when you are dealing with this many athletes things can happen, but as of now, we have ourselves a full fight card, and it is a big one.
Count ’em, 19 fights are scheduled to take place on Jan. 7 at the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville. The televised card is a solid line-up of up-and-comers with a few fighters on the verge of stardom and a few others ready to make their mark. Often times these types of cards are the most enjoyable because it contains so many talented athletes who are very hungry to prove themselves.
The preliminary card is stacked full of talent from Tennessee and the surrounding states. There are title-holders and names on this preliminary card you may have not heard of yet, but are almost guaranteed future headliners of the big show.
